Côte de Beaune: famous for its villages and vineyard
The Côte de Beaune features the capital of Burgundy wines, Beaune, and the vineyard that surrounds the town. From here, you can set off along the Route des Grands Crus (Route of the Great Wines), through a destination bearing the Vignobles & Découvertes label, for a very enjoyable experience guaranteed. You can expect pure pleasure both for the eyes and the tastebuds in this unique winemaking area of Burgundy, listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO: the 'climats' of Burgundy's vineyard. This route can be explored by car or by bike if you'd like to discover these unique wine plots with the wind in your hair.

The Cité des Climats & Vins de Bourgogne
Very soon, in 2023, there will be a brand-new cultural experience of the world of wine in Burgundy! At the heart of the vineyards, you can expect a magical experience learning all about Burgundy wines, history and the history of the Burgundy vineyards, with a focus on the Côtes de Beaune and Côtes de Nuits, in this brand-new stylish and fun visitor’s centre!

The 8 must-sees
In autumn, the aptly-named Côte-d'Or is covered in shades of gold ("or" in French). The vines are all tinted with gold and other shimmering colours. Each globally-renowned village is fairly close to the last... and the flavours of the wines you'll be tasting will stay with you for a long time, leaving lasting memories.
Ideas for weekends

Experiencing the wonderful world of wine
Autumn is most definitely THE best season to come and explore the Burgundy vineyard. Take advantage of this beautiful, colourful season to come on a wine tourism experience in Beaune, the capital of the Burgundy wines, and explore the winegrowing hillsides along the legendary Route des Grands Crus de Bourgogne (Route of the Great Burgundy Wines).
We recommend staying for 3 days / 2 nights to be able to explore the town and surrounding hillsides, without being in a rush.

Romantic getaway in the vineyards
Are you a fan of vineyards, vintage cars and gastronomy? How about a romantic weekend in Burgundy? Come to the pretty village of Santenay, the perfect place to taste one or two Burgundy wines, and explore the area by bike, relax in the brand-new spa and in the evening, why not try your luck at the casino?
By car
Are you just passing by as you follow the "Route des Grands Crus" or making a quick detour to Côte-d'Or? By bike
Passionate cyclists on a bicycle touring trip and families can cycle along the Greenway from Beaune to Santenay, and then from Santenay to Nolay.
