Do not miss Saint-Hippolyte where the monks of Cluny develop a deanery to administer the agricultural domain of which the church is the center.
The remains of the current church date from the end of the 11th century. The church originally presented as a defensive system put in place by the monks to protect their land. The nave collapsed in the 15th century. The church will serve as an agricultural shed and will eventually be abandoned.
Conservation campaigns are carried out by the association "Le Renouveau de Saint Hippolyte" and the municipality in order to offer visitors a simplified architectural reading.
