Divinized under the name of Sequana, the main spring of the Seine which rises in the middle of the woods attracted many Gallic pilgrims who attributed healing virtues to it. The numerous ex-voto found in the sanctuary are exhibited in the archaeological museum of Dijon. Today, it is a charming stone nymph lying in a romantic cave built under Napoleon III that welcomes the visitor.
