Hôtel Dieu - Hospices de Beaune
Owned by the Hospices Civils de Beaune, this remarkably well-preserved heritage site was founded in 1443 thanks to the patronage of Nicolas Rolin, chancellor to the Duke of Burgundy, and his last wife Guigone de Salins. Throughout 2023, we invite you to discover or rediscover the Hôtel-Dieu, whose programme on the theme of HOSPITALITY is a tribute to all those who have worked and still work with the sick, from the hospital sisters to our carers. Exhibitions, workshops, shows and concerts invite you to share the history of this centuries-old place.
