Enjoyable experiences and encounters at the Maison Auvigue

Jean-Pierre and Michel Auvigue will be delighted to welcome you to their winegrowing estate in southern Burgundy. This is a historic estate since the name Auvigue was, even back then, already well known in the Beaujolais-Mâconnais vineyards.

Learn to appreciate:

the must-sees of your journey through the vines

The winegrowing monks have left their mark here, and time has seemingly stood still in the wine cellars. The winegrowing history has been written into the stone, wood and earth, creating a dialogue between nature and the various periods throughout history.

The Route des Grands Crus

Whether you prefer Pinot Noir or Chardonnay, the ultimate experience for fans of Burgundy wines is, of course, the Route des Grands Crus (Route of the Great Wines).

You'll remember these landscapes for a long time. They are so exceptional that it comes as no surprise that this vineyard is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

We strongly recommend that you take a souvenir photo back home with you of the horses working this ancient land, and, of course, the obligatory selfie in the vines at sunset.

Brush up on the basics

We recommend you begin your exploration of the vineyards of Burgundy by brushing up on the basics. We can guarantee that the iconic points of interest across the region all have a fascinating story to tell.

Really experience the vineyard

Journey through the vines on two wheels or in a van

To explore the Burgundy vineyards, why not try something a bit different, on a vintage moped or an electric bike? So many people have decided to combine a passion for wine with other passions, for a very different exploration of the vineyard, some of them are winegrowers themselves and some are natives of Burgundy. Follow the guides, listen attentively, feel the burn in your legs at times… and above all, make some great new memories.

A walk through the vines

What a pleasure it is to walk along the footpaths through the vines and see the current vintage wine being made right before your eyes.

Toast to your adventure, toast to new encounters
