Other Romanesque treasures
Let's begin with Vézelay Abbey. You'll be taken aback by the wonderful, luxuriant world hidden behind each sculpted decoration. Then onto the priory church of La Charité-sur-Loire: 122 m long and 72 m high. In other words, one of the biggest churches in France, and a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture. They are both listed as World Heritage Sites by Unesco.
