Our favourite festivals in Burgundy
After a rather uneventful last season, we can't wait to be able to bring the eclectic sounds of Burgundy's summer festivals back to you. Come to one of the many concerts, held in all four corners of Burgundy. In Beaune, Dijon, Nevers, La Charité-sur-Loire, Chalon-sur-Saône, in Vézelay... whether you are fans of baroque-style music, electro, classical music, the blues, or if you prefer street theatre, you are sure to find the festival for you!
Golden Coast
An action-packed line-up awaits for this brand-new festival devoted to Rap at the Parc de la Combe à la Serpent, a beautiful, 300-ha natural venue very close to Dijon city centre. A festival for people of all ages, to celebrate 50 years of Rap music.

Musicancy
Come to the main courtyard of the Château d'Ancy-le-Franc for 5 concerts, featuring musicians from all over the world. When you arrive, make sure you visit the superb Renaissance-style palace, before taking your seat to enjoy the first notes.
The focus of this 18th season is artistic quality, conviviality and new discoveries.

Les Zaccros d'ma Rue
The "Les Zaccros d'ma Rue" festival marks the beginning of the summer season and the holidays, and is back this year in the town of Nevers & urban community. Street theatre, magic, puppets and silent circus arts with a touch of burlesque. There is something for everyone on this programme of free entertainment.

International Festival of Baroque and Romantic Opera
This 39th edition will be held in the wine capital, in the prestigious venues of the Hospices de Beaune courtyard and the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame. You will be whisked away with 7 operas and oratorios and 4 recitals.

Festival Image Sonore
Come to the Théatre des Roches in Alise-Sainte-Reine, to MuséoParc Alésia and to the Château de Bussy-Rabutin for 21 concerts, 7 of them completely free-of-charge, 20 workshops and 8 video mapping experiences, you won't believe your eyes! These historic venues will be brought to life by classical and electro sounds, including creations from Thylacine, a prodigy of French electronic music!

Chalon dans la Rue
The public areas of Chalon-sur-Saône are brought to life with a whole host of artistic shows this summer. You will be amazed by the street art, digital art, live shows and performances, brought to you by artists from no less than 128 troupes.

Les Grandes Heures de Cluny
This festival was created in 1967 and is organised at the Abbey, the cloister and the monks' flour mill, and the church of Saint Marcel in Cluny. This festival is part of the Festival Musical des Grands Crus de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Harp player, pianist, chorister or trumpet player, the musicians will whisk you away with their melodies for the evening. 3 free concerts are also organised (Festival Off) by Cluny town hall.

Rencontres Musicales de Vézelay
The 21st edition of the Rencontres Musicales de Vézelay will be held at various historic venues, including the superb Basilica of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine, listed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. From the 19th to 22nd August, there are 10 concerts featuring artists from all over Europe, for a one-of-a-kind festival of voices.
