Enjoy an autumnal tour of the castle's exterior. Renovated medieval gate.
Enjoy the English-style grounds of this château near Couches and Beaune. The château overlooks a valley and is surrounded by a moat.
Located between Beaune and Autun, in Saône et Loire, on the border of the Côte d'Or, the Château de Morlet is not well known today. The various buildings that make up the castle are nevertheless remarkable: its Porterie and its incredible Mascarons, the Castle and its English-style park, all of which are listed as historical monuments.
From the end of the 13th century to the 21st century, successive owners have enlarged or embellished the castle according to the needs, the fashion of the time and their financial means. And always in harmony with the calm and buccolic site of the village.
