The Château de Montigny-sur-Aube (MH) is an essential part of the National Forest Park, combining heritage and culture with fruit growing and gastronomy. Enclosed by 4 HA of walls, the castle and its chapel, a jewel of the Renaissance, surrounded by a moat that has been restored, stands in the middle of a picturesque park dating from the early 19th century. Visitors are given an audioguide on arrival, allowing them to discover all the architectural treasures of this site at their own pace, with anecdotes that make for a lively and dynamic visit. The 19th-century orchards and gardens, which back onto the park and orangery, are listed as one of France's Remarkable Gardens. An exceptional collection of espaliered fruit varieties (nearly 350), as well as vegetable and aromatic varieties, offer an extraordinary spectacle where each tree, thanks to the audioguide, tells you its historical and gustatory particularities.
