The tour of the Carolingian Crypt reveals the last secrets of a truly glorious era, introducing you to the very beginning of our story in 719 AD, during the reign of Charlemagne. The crypt is a remnant of the old abbey-church, a living testimony to medieval times where Gallo-Roman, Romanesque and Gothic styles combine to dazzle visitors.
