The rock overlooks the cliff in the west of the reserve.
This site is a listed nature reserve. It has a lot of interests : historical because it was occupied since the Middle Age as pasture area, floristic because of its orchid lawn, and faunistic for its insect, amphibia and rapacious species. Extreme appendix of a plateau overlooking the city of Vesoul, this site exclusively serves at walks (hiking routes) and nature observation to Vesoul inhabitants. Not far from here, there is a tourism aerodrome and a motocross track.
The reserve visit will interest children from 10 years old. Many signs favour the site's understanding. However, a large respect of fauna and flora is expected from visitors. Free activity, no accessible with pushchair. 9 km, 3 hours, 120m of hill walking.
