The site of Cita is an ancient prehistoric site, the plateau dominates the Durgeon valley. Its point is entirely protected by a stone wall. It seems that the men lived in huts made of pisé (a mixture of earth and hay) or dry stones located either on the edge of the cliff or against the fortifications.
The hikers will be able to borrow the green way, road of Villersexel (21kms on foot or with bicycle) or to make the turn of the plate (7,5 km, yellow beaconing, 2h30 approximately) while leaving the carpark of the "4 fir trees" with Navenne.
Access by the road to Besançon, between Navenne and Echenoz-la-Méline.
