On one side of the rock, a millstone has been extracted and on the other, we do not know why the quarrymen did not finish their work and we can understand what their working method was.
A few steps further on is the Saint's fountain: according to legend, Saint Emilien (Bishop of Nantes in the 8th century) lost his life here and a spring miraculously sprang up. Formerly a place of pagan pilgrimage for the benefits of the spring water (sterility, eye problems...), a procession took place every year at the end of August. Even today, a mass is celebrated in the woods on the last Sunday of August.
