Going back to the source, a walk through time: for more than 2000 years, man has successively exploited then abandoned the site of Mont Préneley and the sources of the Yonne. All along the route, discover these traces of the past that appear in the landscape. After crossing the peat bog on a wooden pontoon, you will immerse yourself in the majestic beech forest. Then you will reach the source of the Yonne, which will reveal itself under your feet.

A signpost, reminiscent of a dowser, will guide your steps. Along the trail, silhouettes placed as clues symbolise the major themes of the trail: the peat bog, the springs, the floating of wood, the forest...
