By taking the D6 to Moloy, then the forest road of the Combe de Bellefontaine, discover in the state forest of Moloy one of the most important French populations of Venus's Sabot in the lowland forests.
This species is the largest, but also one of the most beautiful orchids in Western Europe. It finds in the bottom of this small, deep valley, pseudo-mountainous conditions, sufficiently rigorous to develop.
The pathway was simply laid out by the ONF to channel visitors into the area. Information panels raise public awareness and remind people that picking protected plants is punishable by fines.
Warning: do not walk on the grass as you risk trampling on unopened flowers! Stay behind the safety cordon installed by the ONF.
