La Certenue

Culminating at 611 metres, you will find a terrace which reveals a miraculous fountain and a chapel dedicated to the Virgin and placed under the vocation of Our Lady of the Snows, this chapel is the vestige of a cult linked to fertility and whose pilgrimage took place at Pentecost. A mass is still celebrated here on Whit Monday. La Certenue is also a departure point for microlight and paraglider pilots who take advantage of the height to admire the Mesvrin landscape from the air. An orientation table will allow you to better understand the view which is offered to you: by good weather, impregnable sight on the Mount Jeu and the Mount Beuvray.
