On the Faye spur, near Hôpitot, a limestone meadow has become an awareness-raising area of great ecological value.
This hillock shelters a large number of protected plant species.
From May to July, the orchids, true botanical jewels, adorn the lawn, transforming the landscape with their rich and varied colours.
All summer long, butterflies populate the paths. A labyrinth based on the traces of the old terraced vineyards allows you to go down the hillside.
Many animals are present in the woods. You may come across deer or rabbits, weasels and red foxes. It is not unusual for the walker's silence to be rewarded by an encounter with the animals of the forest. From the top of the mound you can enjoy a panoramic view and two explanatory orientation tables.
