The Arcy caves are listed as a Historic Monument. Their evidence of Palaeolithic human activity makes them unique in the world. Your journey through the Grande Grotte will plunge you into an astonishing universe of limestone concretions formed by the patient work of water, before reaching a room with walls decorated with cave paintings that are still full of emotion after 28,000 years. You can also take a walk along the pretty riverside paths!
