A sparkling destination for families and groups to enjoy a wonderful adventure in the world of wine.
Located in the Châtillonnais region in the north of the Côte-d'Or and at the gateway to the Champagne region, we look forward to welcoming you to L'Oenocentre Ampélopsis. We wanted to create a cultural and educational facility dedicated to vines and wine, in a historic site with 18th-century barns and 13th-century wine cellars.
In addition to the museography and exhibitions, the focus is strongly on "interpretation". Covering an area of 2,000 m², we offer a cultural, temporal, technical, sensory and fun way of learning about the world of wine, in the form of a discovery tour, enhanced by a strong audio-visual presence and lined with educational workshops to awaken the 5 senses. Set off on an emotional journey of initiation into the world of vines and wine, in an authentic, family-friendly setting.
Follow the guide:
- Reception area and terrace.
- Le Muséum St Vincent: exhibition room with old-fashioned tools.
- Le Temple de la Vigne: an educational room where you can learn about the biology of the vine.
- Le Théâtre du vivant (Theatre of the living): an educational room with activities on soil life and agroecology.
- The Oenoscope: an educational and animation room on oenology and fermentation.
- Le Vinérama: projection room showing the work of the winegrower.
- La Cuverie: production site
- The Ageing Cellar: wine ageing.
- La Cave des moines: a static theatre with characters who tell you the story of wine.
- Sensory area: introduction to wine tasting.
- Auguste's lean-to: the mechanisation of the vine.
- Le Jardin de Bacchus (Bacchus Garden): French-style garden, ampelotheque of 120 French grape varieties, the only one of its kind in Burgundy.
- Le Cirque de Vigne en Bulle: private area, show,
- The Caveau des vieux millésimes: tasting room
- The boutique: Domaine products and other items.
Semi-free tour of 2h30 for all the family, with tasting of 2 or 3 wines. Fresh grape juice for children.
On 29 June 2011, we were awarded the 1st Prix National de l'Oenotourisme in the category "enhancement of a wine cellar or site".

Dear visitors, we are doing our utmost, with our means, to limit the spread of the Coronavirus while reserving you the warmest possible welcome. We remind you the necessity, for you as for us, to apply the barrier gestures, and to respect our rules as regards prevention: - We welcome one family or group of friends at a time (and 10 people maximum). The following visitors can wait in their vehicles or in a dedicated area, as long as the first ones have not entered the second room (15 to 20 minutes apart). The tour route is one-way (families do not cross paths). - A distance of at least 1 meter will be necessary between you and us. - We provide hydroalcoholic solution to wash your hands upon arrival and encourage the use of masks. - At the cashier's desk, we have put in place a physical barrier (plexi type), in addition to a distance marking on the floor. We favour credit card and contactless payment methods. - Once inside, we suggest you stroll around in a relaxed mode, with your hands in your pockets to avoid touching any support and the contents of the museum (the doors remain open). - The tasting at the end of the visit is served in a (new) glass that you keep as a souvenir (avoiding all risks of contamination linked to oral exchanges and various manipulations) and only the winemaker touches the bottles. - We regularly clean and disinfect our premises. - We open every day to dilute the number of visitors per day. - The Nuits Bulleuses and the Ampelos Workshops are limited to 10 people.
