Bernard & Monique open the doors of an authentic old traditional 19th century "miner's house" (formerly linked to a small iron ore mining site owned by the local industrial empire Schneider), steeped in history & fully restored, nestled on the edge of a lane, in the heart of a peaceful, charming, typical & perfectly preserved little village (one of the smallest communes in the department). Calm & total tranquility, nestled in the heart of the preserved wine-growing countryside of Maranges in the hollow of a bucolic valley of woods & meadows surrounded by vineyard hillsides, at the foot of various "belvedere" mountains all culminating at over 500m (including Mont Rome & the "Montagne des Trois Croix", classified as a "natural park" offering an exceptional 360° panorama). Magnificent landscaped setting all around, mixing nature & viticulture. Enchanting & totally soothing setting. Spacious gîte with very good comfort. Large living room.
