Interpretation Centre for Architecture and Heritage

Admission is free to this venue that puts the history of Dijon in the spotlight.

Housing, materials, arts and the history of the city, are all addressed so visitors can find out everything there is to know about the local area.

Just like the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin, this venue is inside the former hospital, and a section of the exhibition is devoted to the 800 years of the site's hospital-related history.

This is a unique heritage site that is definitely worth a visit.

Exhibition devoted to food & drink

"A la table des Français" (At the French table) is a permanent exhibition involving interactive spaces, giant scenes, theatre, texts and videos, all devoted to the French concept of "bien manger" (eating well) and "bien boire" (drinking well).

The 1,750 m² of exhibition space are devoted to the way the French eat and drink, that goes way beyond just satisfying a vital need.

An ideal exhibition to learn about and understand the French art of fine-dining.

Tour of the Grande Chapelle

The Grande Chapelle still stands proudly at the location of the former hospital. This monument has witnessed over 800 years of history and is still there today, to tell visitors the wonderful stories about wine and the climats.
Good to know: Admission is free! You can choose to book a guided tour of the chapel, for more in-depth information about the history of this place.
