In my studio in the heart of the medieval town of Noyers, I design and make stoneware tableware for everyday use, with clean lines and soft tones. Bowls, bouillons, goblets and vases are turned on my potter's wheel. After careful drying, these pieces are fired a first time at 980 degrees. Then comes the glazing phase, which will give your favourite pot its colour! Then comes the final stage, the second firing. Would you like to see the result? I welcome visitors to my workshop and shop. It's a great opportunity to talk to them about the techniques used to create these handmade pieces using Burgundy clay. When the objects are being turned, you're welcome to watch a demonstration! Every month from April to October, I organise workshops (limited number of people) on a particular object or technique, by prior arrangement.
