"We needed a place that reflected the personality of our parents, the history of winegrowing Burgundy, the preservation of our heritage and a place with a strong identity.
A cellar tour and hand-crafted tastings in the image of the house wines. A place like no other, between renovation and architectural creation, a garden like in the days of the Ursulines.
The new Jean-Claude Boisset winery is a natural extension of the town's winegrowing heritage. The building is intended to be a physical and spiritual extension of the former Ursuline convent, where the nuns lived until the French Revolution. Entirely dedicated to the production of couture wines, it came into being with the 2018 harvest. The fruit of several years' reflection by the family, this winery includes the reception and vinification of the grapes, maturing in barrels and bottling.
Founded in 1961, Maison Jean-Claude Boisset is a family-run business that produces Burgundy wines, mainly from the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, in a natural style: straightforward, precise, silky and resolutely fruity. Originalities and nuggets make up a Collection of some forty hand-sewn, limited-edition cuvées inspired by the mosaic of Burgundy's climats.
