If there was only one event for the autumn in Burgundy, it would be this one
While the vineyards prepare for the calm of late autumn, the streets of Beaune come alive. The famous Hospices de Beaune Wine Sale is an opportunity for Burgundians to get together and celebrate. The town centre is transformed, with a funfair, gourmet village, folk parades and concerts. The aromas of local produce and mulled wine waft around you. Everything is done to break the melancholy of the late season.
The world's most famous charity wine auction, the Hospices de Beaune Wine Sale takes place every year on the third Sunday of November.
Professionals, connoisseurs and simple wine lovers meet for 3 days of festivities, in the pure Burgundian tradition.
On this occasion, many wine merchants and estates open their cellars.
On the programme: prestige tastings, old vintages, grands crus and of course cellar visits.

Several musical and folkloric groups will liven up the streets of the city centre throughout the weekend.
At nightfall, lighted scenographies are projected on the facades of seven emblematic sites of Beaune, evoking their history and their symbolism.
Not forgetting the not-to-be-missed event for sportsmen and women: the half-marathon in the vineyards around Beaune on Saturday afternoon.
A unique event given by Burgundy to wine lovers!
