Located in Pouilly-sur-Loire, in the middle of the vineyards, the cellar of the Jean Jacques Bardin estate welcomes you Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and 2.30pm to 7pm, Saturday from 10am to 12pm and 2.30pm to 6pm, and Sundays by appointment from 10am to 12pm and 2.30pm to 5pm.
Tastings are available for groups of up to 50 people.
Remember to make an appointment if you're coming as a group, so that the estate can prepare for your arrival and also offer you some Crottin de Chavignol during the tasting.
As a general rule, it's always best to call ahead to let us know you're coming!
This family-run estate offers wines from 4 appellations (56 hectares, two-thirds of which are in Pouilly): Pouilly Fumé, Pouilly sur Loire, Sancerre and Côtes de la Charité. Gwendoline, Vickie and Jorris, the three children of Jean Jacques Bardin and the 9th generation of winegrowers in the family, now cultivate the estate according to the HVE approach.
To get to the estate, take a small road through the vines that leads up to one of the highest points in Pouilly-sur-Loire. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the vineyards, the village and the Loire. Once there, you'll discover a number of collectors' items relating to the work of the vine and wine... Tools handed down from previous generations. The Bardin family keep these treasures carefully and will be delighted to explain them to you one by one.
