A descendant of a family of winemakers and coopers originally from Boppard on the Rhine, Jean Adam Reitz arrived in Burgundy (Gevrey Chambertin) in 1793. His great-grandson Paul Reitz, a Nuits-Saint-Georges grower, settled in Corgoloin in 1872 and founded the estate in 1882. For 8 generations, our estate has strived to preserve knowledge and expertise according to the tradition of owners, growers and traders. Now, at the dawn of the third millennium, using the long experience we have acquired, we must pass on the fundamental values of this major trade to future generations and highlight the importance of the Burgundy region and its wines
