Giroud

This estate is located in Uchizy, a village near the town of Tournus. It consists of 13 hectares planted with Chardonnay vines, in the communes of Uchizy, Plottes, and Chardonnay itself. The vines grow in clay-limestone subsoil, giving the whites the fruity flavors typical of the Mâconnais-Tornus region. Most of the vines run east-west for an abundance of sunshine.
