The Hôtel-Dieu of Tournus, founded in the XVII century offers visitors one of France’s most ancient apothecaries. Admire the rich Nevers earthenware pots, the glass flasks. On the ceiling, paintings depict angels flying around with plants in hand. Imagine treatments being applied to patients in the oak box beds, in the three wards, in a cross around the chappels. Don’t miss the tins room.
