Weekend in Forêts National Park in the Côte d’Or
Autumn is the perfect season to go hiking through this remarkable area and the forest that is more than two centuries old. It is also an opportunity to explore the surrounding region: visit the Musée du Chatillonnais-Trésor de Vix, or taste some Crémant sparkling wine. You are in for some surprises on this weekend away!
The first day
In the shade of the deciduous trees, there are 3 GR hiking tails, MTB and bicycle touring routes, to guide visitors around this vast playground in the great outdoors. They are all waymarked so there's no risk of getting lost!
The evening
Near Châtillon-sur-Seine, there are plenty of good reasons to come to the Château de Courban: a peaceful garden, a beautiful swimming pool with wooden decking, a spa and Michelin-starred restaurant run by chef Takashi Kinoshita.

The second day
To round off your programme, there are several iconic historic and cultural sites to visit, such as the Musée du Pays Châtillonnais-Trésor de Vix and the impressive Vix Krater or the Route du Crémant.
