Ville de Moulins-Engilbert
This charming little medieval village, which has been awarded the "Station Verte" label, is a great place to stroll around and discover the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, the ruins of the old castle, its beautiful private houses, its salt storehouse and its flowery streets...
You can also take a tour of the trompe l'oeil frescoes on the facades. And don't forget Commagny, 2 km away, with its priory and its 12th century church. Moulins-Engilbert is also home to the Marché au Cadran, an internationally renowned livestock market, which can be seen on Tuesdays.
There is also a large monthly fair on the first Tuesday of each month in the village streets.
