Vélorail du Bazois-Morvan
The routes are in the undergrowth, close to the magnificent golden colours of the autumn!
On board our electrically assisted velorails, on an old railway line, for 2 to 3 hour rides in the heart of nature, you will love to hear only the noise of your means of transport and enjoy the colours of the Morvan landscapes in autumn. Discover the secrets of the Morvan on 24 km of cycle routes in the heart of a preserved and golden wilderness. A simple pleasure to share!
Welcome to the Vélorail du Bazois Morvan in Chateau-Chinon!
Here are the characteristics of our two velorail routes:
_Small tour of the Fontaine d'Amour, 14km round trip, about 1H45, 39€ per velorail, minimum 2 people per bike (able to pedal/brake, minimum height 1.50m) and maximum 5 people per velorail.
Departures at 09:00 (July and August), 11:00 (about 1 hour of cycling + 1 hour for a picnic / picnic not provided + 1 hour of velorail), 14:00 and 16:00.
Great Tacot route, 24km round trip, about 3 hours, 56€ per bicycle, minimum 2 people per bicycle (able to pedal/brake, minimum height 1.50m) and maximum 5 people per bicycle.
Departures at 11am (about 1 hour cycling + 1 hour picnic / picnic not provided + 1 hour velorail) and 4pm.
The departure is at the old train station of Chateau-Chinon Campagne (58120), La gare, or chemin de la Fontaine d'Amour.

21kg approved baby seat available on request, 5 people maximum per seat including baby.
Dogs accepted, on a tight leash, please bring a small mat as the platform is perforated.
