The Pavillon du Milieu de Loire is a nature and environment centre that welcomes the public and provides environmental education.
You will find: two vast temporary exhibition rooms with a varied programme and a permanent space dedicated to the Loire Valley Nature Reserve.
Exhibition to be discovered from Saturday 16 April:
-Until 6 November: "Lumière sur les plantes", an interactive and fun exhibition on the incredible diversity of plants - From the Maison de la Forêt de l'Agglomération Montargoise Et Rives du Loing
-Until 6 Nov: "The nature reserve: what diversity", all the richness and beauty of the Val de Loire nature reserve summarised in 14 panels - An exhibition by the RNVL and the Conservatoires d'espaces naturels de Bourgogne et Centre-Val de Loire.
-Until 26 June: "Libellule", an exhibition of photographs by Daniel Magnin, accompanied by texts by Alain Cugno
-From 2 July to 31 August: "La Loire et les Hommes", an exhibition to discover the fauna and flora of the Loire - From the Maison de Loire du Loiret
-From 6 July to 28 August: "Poissons de Loire", lithographs by Alexander Francis Lydon - Collection of the Musée de la Loire de Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire
-From 3 Sept to 6 Nov: "Archno'folies", a dive into the surprising world of spiders - An exhibition by the Eden Centre.
You will also find at the Pavillon du Milieu de Loire: a refuge garden for biodiversity, a tourist information point, a nature shop, a refreshment bar, a documentation centre and a relaxation area for young and old, a sheltered picnic area.
Nearby: a playground and paths to discover the Loire Valley Nature Reserve and the vineyards.
The Pavillon du Milieu de Loire offers electrically assisted bicycle hire in partnership with the Loire, Vignobles and Nohain Tourist Office.
Numerous nature events are organised throughout the year for all ages by the Cœur de Loire Environmental Education Department.
