Lamartine’s “Solitude” or the Girondists’ Pavilion, a contemplation and writing place for Lamartine, poet and statesman. It was in this small octagonal wooden pavilion, located in the middle of his Monceau estate vineyard, that he wrote in verse and prose a part of his "Histoire des Girondins'. Tour inside for the Heritage Days and on request. Exterior open to the public.
