The 'Dijon stone' used to build the city's first monuments was extracted from these quarries, which have now been rehabilitated into a landscaped park with a stone amphitheatre and waterfall. A paddling pool, children's play facilities, a miniature golf course and animal enclosures make it an ideal place to come with the family.
