The Maquis de la Cave is an association based in Varennes les Narcy. Its aim is to provide a programme of cultural activities, events and various initiatives to encourage encounters and exchanges.
To do this, the association organises one-off events:
- concerts
- brunches,
- cinemas at the Cave
- etc...
But also more regular events:
- the Z'Ateliers du Maquis: making cosmetics or natural household products.
- Music lessons: Jazz saxophone and improvisation, beginners and advanced, and musical awakening for children with Vincent BIGOT KLEIN, musician and Dumiste.
- Creation of shows for children
- Workshops for children: manual workshops (making costumes for example), organisation of collective outings, etc...

The association rents "Carlotta", a lovely 1946 caravan transformed into a dry toilet. It has two toilet cubicles and a water point. Different services can be offered according to your needs or budget: festivals, weddings, private or public parties, etc...

Our objectives:
We have set up these different projects around the same objectives:
- To create a place to meet, to exchange and to share in order to encourage and enhance social links.
- To create a place of life open to various local initiatives.
- To welcome a multigenerational public from different social backgrounds.
- To promote the short circuit.
- To be actors in local social and cultural development.
- To create an active network of local partners (producers, local authorities, musicians, any person wishing to participate in this project...)

Welcome to our Hive. Every week, find here good food from a quality farm. Vegetables, fruits, meats, eggs, dairy products, bread, honey and jam, soaps... You will meet producers and enjoy this new way of eating better while supporting local agriculture.
