Concert: From Schubert to Bruckner: shadows, lights and mysteries

On Sunday 7 July, the Orchestre des Concerts Nivernais invites you to their concert "From Schubert to Bruckner: shadows, lights and mysteries" at La Maison in Nevers at 8 pm.

To round off the season, the Orchestre Symphonique des Concerts Nivernais has chosen six works or extracts from major works that left their mark on German Romanticism and post-Romanticism.
For the occasion, we welcome internationally renowned horn player Jacques Deleplancque
? Franz SCHUBERT (1797 - 1828) : Rosamunde Overture, D.644 (11 minutes)
? Richard STRAUSS (1864 - 1949): Concerto No. 1 in E flat major for horn and orchestra, Op. 11 (16 minutes)

? Richard WAGNER (1813 - ?1883): Siegfried-Idylle, symphonic poem, WWV103 (20 minutes)
? Anton BRUCKNER (1824 - 1896) : Finale of Symphony No. 4 in E flat major, known as the "Romantic" Symphony, WAB 104 (3 minutes)

Les Concerts Nivernais, the department's only high-level symphony orchestra, brings together 70 musicians, students, professionals and amateurs.

Online ticket sales on the Concerts Nivernais website, via HelloAsso, and also at the Nevers Conservatoire on Wednesday 3 July from 10am to 7pm and at La Maison, 1 hour before the concert.
