The Commanderie de Villemoison is a unique monument in the region, both in terms of its history and its architecture. Its three buildings (chapel, commander's dwelling and barn), which date from the 12th century, bear witness to the establishment of the Templar Order in the Nièvre. In the courtyard, there is a Romanesque chapel whose heart is decorated with a 13th century fresco. The site is privately owned and part of it is a tourist accommodation. The site can only be visited during guided tours on Wednesdays in the summer by the owners and during the European Heritage Days.
