The original core of Quemigny-sur-Seine is an impressive 13th century keep to which a graceful main building was added in the middle of the 18th century. This ensemble is preceded by a forecourt where 18th century outbuildings and two round 16th century towers with pepperpot roofs stand on either side of an alleyway. The terraced gardens are laid out around a stream running under the castle, a waterfall, pieces of hedges and ponds.
