Located in Saône-et-Loire, in the heart of Burgundy, the flying club is both steeped in history and resolutely turned towards the future. Saint-Yan, thanks to precursors and exceptional pilots such as Louis Notteghem or Raymond Vivien, was the cradle of modern aviation, inventing the piloting methods used all over the world. This tradition continues with the ENAC, which continues to train several dozen professional pilots on the platform every year. Created in 1968 by the members of the SEFA, the Saint-Yan flying club is now open to all aviation enthusiasts. Based on the Saint-Yan platform, with 2 paved runways, one grass runway, protected by a CTR and a TMA during the week, the flying club benefits from quality structures allowing flight and aeronautical training in all VFR conditions, including at night. With a fleet of 3 DR400 and a Jodel D113 all perfectly maintained, the team of the aeroclub, its instructors, will be delighted to receive you to give you information, for your first flight, for a first flight or simply to talk about aviation.
