Cheval Blanc chef Roger Petriaux offers refined, seasonal cuisine. His gourmet menu is sure to please every palate. Located in a former coaching inn, the restaurant's setting, with its exposed beams and fireplace, offers you a most pleasant interlude.
When you arrive in Charny, a small town in the Yonne, located in Burgundy, you will find the Cheval Blanc, a former 17th century coaching inn on the main square, opposite the covered market. Roger, owner and chef since April 2011, welcomes you for a stopover or a long stay, offering you comfortable and quiet rooms and a traditional, innovative cuisine where you will enjoy discovering our wine heritage.
The restaurant room is decorated with a magnificent fireplace dating from the 17th century, and can accommodate up to 35 guests. You will appreciate our quiet and shaded terrace, located in our inner courtyard where you can eat in peace. On Sunday mornings, you can stroll around the market of Charny, located under the market hall, where you will find all the products of the Burgundian soil.
