Standing majestically on the right as you leave Beaune in the direction of Dijon, the superb Bareuzai building has been brought back to life by Henry and his team, who have just opened a wine shop and bar.
From bottle to magnum to bag in box, from Chablis to Mâconnais to Côte de Beaune, a wide choice of wines from different appellations, from different owners and at all prices is on offer.
On the 'bubbles' side, there's a vast selection of Crémant, as well as Champagne from Ruinart, Moutard and other leading houses. Whisky lovers will be won over by the Couvreur and Mac Malden brands.
A touch of the exotic with Don Papa or Diplomatico rums.
Finally, there's a local produce area where you can discover terrines, griottines, mustards and other regional delicacies. When it comes to the wine bar, anything is possible - just ask.
Henry and his team organise tastings to suit visitors' wishes in the magnificent cellar, in the shop or even on the terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of the vineyards of Savigny, Pernand, the Corton mountain and Ladoix.
These tastings can be accompanied by platters of charcuterie and cheese from local artisans.
