In Corpeau, a village in the Côte de Beaune, Jean-Charles FAGOT has transformed the family winegrower's house into a cosy inn.
With beamed ceilings, stone walls and Burgundy flagstone floors, he serves local cuisine and grilled meats prepared in front of you by the chef in the large central fireplace.
Also on the menu are gourmet dishes such as crayfish gratin, Bresse chicken with Epoisses sauce and Burgundy snails in a caquelon with hazelnut powder.
The wine list pays tribute to the Burgundies of the house and to a selection of vintages from other owners, with over 200 references.
