One of the most curious sanctuaries in the Nivernais, overlooking the charming valley of the Cane and set against the forest, the 11th and 12th century Romanesque church of Jailly is a former Benedictine priory dependent on La Charité-sur-Loire. Situated on the ancient road from Vézelay to Nevers and surrounded by a romantic legend, it is said to be the work of fairies. Church open all year round. Explanatory panels outside and inside. In season, classical music concerts.
