Saint-Pierre church in Villiers-en-Morvan, one of the smallest communes in the Arnay-Liernais region and located in the Parc du Morvan, was built in 1880 to replace the ruined medieval church. The church is in the neo-Gothic style and is built of ashlar. A statue of St Peter that was in the old building has been buried near the new church. Following a number of unfortunate events, it was decided to dig it up and place it in the church.
