The Saint-Pierre church in Villiers-en-Morvan, one of the smallest communes in the Arnay-Liernais region and located in the Morvan Park, was built in 1880 to replace the ruined medieval church. The church is in neo-gothic style and is built with ashlars. A statue of St. Peter that was in the old building was buried near the new church. After many unfortunate events, it was decided to dig it up and place it in the church.
