The Romanesque parish church of Saint-Donat was listed as a historical monument in 1948. It was also the chapel of the castle. Built at the end of the 11th century, it was completed in the following century by a bell tower in the style of those of the Brionnais. The church was the seat of an obedience of Cluny. Its Gothic portal was financed by Alphonse de Lamartine, whose tomb, built in 1829, is adjacent to the castle wall. A restoration is currently underway in conjunction with the Monuments Historiques and the Fondation du Patrimoine. You can participate by making a donation and by taking part in the collection on https://www.fondation-patrimoine.org/
