Chapelle de la Visitation

Place of the apparitions of Christ to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque between 1673 and 1675. To the right of the choir, a small chapel houses the shrine of the saint, where a wax cast of her bones lies. This shrine dates from the beatification of the nun in 1864. Marguerite-Marie was canonized in 1920 by Pope Benedict XV
The chapel of the Visitation monastery, built in 1633, was remodeled in 1854 in a style reminiscent of the decoration of the Basilica.
