The cathedral of Saint-Cyr Sainte-Julitte has the particularity of having two choirs, one Romanesque on the west, the other Gothic on the east. The Romanesque choir is distinguished by the crypt and the gigantic Christ in Glory painted on the apse's cul-de-four vault. The gothic chevet, on the other hand, offers visitors a condensed architectural history between the 6th century baptistery and the 20th century stained glass windows. Indeed, the cathedral offers another particularity, that of having contemporary stained glass windows. This initiative follows the destruction of almost all the windows during the aerial bombardment of 16 July 1944. For the design of the stained glass windows, several of the most important painters were chosen, such as Viallat, Alberola, Honegger and Rouan
