Benedictine monastery founded in 1850 in a secluded, wild setting in the heart of the Morvan. You can't visit the interior, but you can attend the monks' prayers. In the shop, you'll find a religious and general bookshop, religious objects, local and abbey crafts (Frênette, Tisanes de l'abbaye, cheeses, pottery, decorated porcelain, pictures and postcards, as well as books published by Editions Zodiaque). An exhibition and video present the history and life of the community.

Visits: the shop is open Monday to Saturday, 11am to 12pm and 3pm to 5.30pm (5pm on Mondays); Sundays and public holidays, 11.15am to 12.15pm and 3.15pm to 5.30pm. Closed at the beginning of January, see website for opening times.
