Usine Aillot - Galerie du camion ancien
The Aillot factory in Montceau-les-Mines dates from the 19th century. It manufactured steam rollers for public works companies.
The site is now gradually being restored and developed to house a collection of vintage vehicles, heavy goods vehicles from 1941 to 1986. About twenty trucks from the collection are on display, including remarkable pieces such as the Berliet GBC 8 6x6 Sahara driven by Lino Ventura in the film "One hundred thousand dollars in the sun".
This is an opportunity to get behind the wheel of mythical trucks, to discover the human adventures of the road in an authentic Greyhound bus, to browse through our exhibitions such as "Truck and Cinema" and to share a moment of conviviality at the Baraillot refreshment bar. T
hroughout the season, we organise events, concerts, shows and conferences to be seen on the site of the Usine Aillot.
