Interactive and educational museum devoted to the Loire River, Europe's last natural river: its history, its aquatic environment, its ecosystem, its canals. Temporary exhibits. Gift shop and bookshop. Panorama and detailed view of the landscape directly overlooking the city's famous canal bridge from an observation deck located inside the museum. Your visit to the Observaloire exhibit may be completed by the "promenade des Demoiselles" marked walk on a path specially designed for an introduction the Loire River's unique flora and fauna, along the Canal du Centre. Daylong theme-based programmes, including site and museum visits, also organised.
